Vivian is a joyful 4-year-old girl living with cerebral palsy from a brain injury at birth, and her family is working to raise funds for two promising experimental treatments, one in Mexico and one in the U.S. that could improve her mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
These promising experimental treatments that could greatly improve her quality of life one at the NeuroCytonix Treatment Center in Mexico, which uses low-energy radio waves to help repair damaged brain connections, and another with Dr. Eric Weiss in the U.S., a regenerative medicine specialist offering advanced stem cell therapy.
Both of these treatments are considered experimental, meaning they are not covered by insurance. The NeuroCytonix therapy requires travel out of the country for five weeks, while the stem cell treatments also involve significant out-of-pocket costs. To help make this possible, Vivian’s family and friends are setting up a donation platform to help cover the costs.
